Fusilier Dean Dorans, son Joshua, wife Christy and daughter Jessica surprised Jean on Thursday.
As the nation came together for a minute’s applause tonight to recognise the tireless work of NHS staff, carers and key workers, residents in Glenrothes were treated to a piping performance from a talented soldier.
While some residents clapped or banged pots and pans during Thursday’s 8pm Clap For Carers moment, Second Scots Fusilier Dean Dorans played the pipes out in the street at Huntingtower Park.
Dean, accompanied by wife Christy, two-year-old son Joshua and nine-year-old daughter Jessica, surprised the youngsters’ grandmother Jean by performing on her doorstep.
