The Forth Road Bridge will be closed to all traffic for most of the next two Wednesdays to allow for essential repairs.
Bus services will be diverted via the Queensferry Crossing during the closures from 8am to 4pm on April 29 and May 6.
The east footpath will remain open to cyclists and pedestrians on both dates.
All non-essential operations on the bridge have been stopped while coronavirus restrictions are in place but the repairs to joints are essential to ensure the structures continuing safe operation.
Bridge operators Amey said work would be carried out in strict compliance with Government guidance on social distancing and hygiene.
