Police in Fife have appealed for help in tracing a man who disappeared after being treated at a Glasgow hospital more than a month ago.
Officers searching for Steven Swinfen, 34, say they are growing increasingly concerned for his safety after he was last spotted on CCTV in the grounds of Gartnavel Hospital in Glasgow at around 4pm on March 16.
Recent information received by Police Scotland suggests Mr Swinfen may have travelled to Fife, specifically the Dunfermline town centre area.
Mr Swinfen is described as being 5’9″ tall, white, of slim build with black hair and brown eyes.
At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a navy long sleeved jumper, grey trousers and black footwear.
Sergeant David McCabe, from Police Scotland, said: “Steven has been missing for a prolonged period now, this is out of character for him and his family are understandably worried about him.
“We have a number of police resources committed to tracing Steven and I am now looking for the assistance of the local community.”
Mr Swinfen had been at Gartnavel, a teaching hospital which specialises in mental health and psychiatric care.
