Laptops and smart phones have been provided to a charity for abuse survivors by a Glenrothes community centre.
Collydean Community Centre donated the devices to Kingdom Abuse Survivors Project to allow it to provide its vital services online and over the phone during lockdown.
The centre secured funding and equipment from the Scottish Government to support grassroots organisations and charities.
Local MSP Jenny Gilruth put it in touch with KASP, which provides counselling, health and wellbeing services to adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
The SNP member for Mid Fife and Glenrothes said: “KASP are providing lifeline support for vulnerable groups of people in Fife, including survivors of the most horrific abuse, and I am pleased to have helped give a boost to their efforts to adapt services during these difficult times.”
Rose Duncan, Collydean Community Centre manager, said: “The services that KASP provide will be needed now more than ever so I am pleased to have been able to assist them.
“I hope anyone here in Collydean and across Fife who has experienced childhood sexual abuse can continue to make use of KASP’s help.”
