The 41-year-old has since been released, however, as further enquiries are carried out. A house in Lomond Gardens was searched as part of an ongoing investigation. Locals reported seeing a heavy police presence, with several force vehicles outside the property. Police Scotland confirmed its attendance, assisted by specialist resources. A spokeswoman said: “On Thursday, April 30, as a result of information received, officers searched a house in Lomond Gardens, Kirkcaldy. “A 41-year-old man was arrested in connection with the search, however, he has been released pending further enquiry.”
