Police are hunting a man in connection with a sexual offence against two teenage girls in Lochgelly.
The driver of white car stopped to ask the 17-year-olds for directions and touched himself in a sexual manner.
He was in a white saloon car when the incident happened
The incident happened on Tuesday around 7.15pm in High Street and the man drove off towards Hall Street.
Neither girl was hurt but police said they were shaken by their experience.
Detective Constable Ross Gribbons said: “This was a very distressing incident for the girls involved and although they were not physically harmed they were left shaken.
“We are eager to trace the man responsible as soon as possible and I would appeal to anyone who may recognise the description of the suspect or who may have seen a white car in the area around the time of the incident to get in touch.”
The suspect is in his late 20s and skinny with ginger stubble.
He was wearing a grey t-shirt and black jogging bottoms with a black baseball cap and glasses.
