The Forth Road Bridge will be closed to traffic on Wednesday to allow for essential repairs.
The closure will be in place from 8am to 4.30pm to allow operating company Amey to work on joints in the carriageways.
The bridge will also be closed for the same period the following Wednesday, May 20, as well as May 27 and 28.
Buses will be diverted via the Queensferry Crossing during these times.
The east footpath will remain open to cyclists and pedestrians.
All non-essential operations on the network have been stood down while the current coronavirus restrictions are in place, however these repairs are considered essential to ensure the continuing safe operation of the bridge.
Amey said work would proceed in strict compliance with Scottish Government guidance on social distancing and hygiene.
