Police and firefighters were called to the collision on Methilhaven Road just before 11am on Thursday. Paramedics were sent to the scene but no one was injured. The Hyundai careered off the road into a lamppost then hit the bus shelter, which is understood to have been empty at the time. A police spokeswoman said: “We were called around 10.55am to a report of a one-vehicle crash on Methilhaven Road, Methil. “A white Hyundai Ioniq crashed into a bus stop. “The Scottish Ambulance Service was in attendance but the driver was not injured. “The fire service also attended to deal with a fuel spillage and damage to a nearby lamppost.”
