Earlier today, Cowdenbeath based Wrightline Roadmarkings Ltd painted an amazing thank you message – complete with rainbow – at the main entrance to the Victoria Hospital. Wrightline wanted to channel their expertise to create a lasting legacy of thanks at the Victoria Hospital and got in touch with us via Facebook. The area was deliberately chosen so that patients and staff can see it on their way into work and from the windows of wards. We were lucky enough to capture the dynamic duo as they set to work…🌈
A lasting reminder of the public’s gratitude now greets hospital staff arriving for work in Kirkcaldy.
At the entrance to Victoria Hospital a huge rainbow has been painted on the ground, with the words ‘Thank You NHS’.
The message was painted by Cowdenbeath-based Wrightline Roadmarkings Ltd.
NHS Fife was contacted by the company which wanted to create a legacy of thanks at the hospital.
The entrance area was chosen for the message and rainbow, the symbol which has become synonymous with the public’s appreciation for healthcare workers during the Covid-19 pandemic, so it could be seen by staff arriving for shifts and patients from ward windows.
NHS Fife shared a video of the artwork in creation on social media, attracting hundreds of messages of praise.
