A police investigation into a serious crash that left a woman critically injured is continuing.
The 27-year-old has been fighting for her life in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, since the accident in Methil on Sunday evening.
Police said on Wednesday there was no update on her condition.
A three-year-old girl, who was also in the car when it crashed into a tree on South Street at 7.25pm, was taken to Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, with what were described as minor injuries.
The 33-year-old male driver was also taken to Victoria Hospital but did not require medical attention.
He was spoken to by officers immediately after the crash, involving a silver Volkswagen Bora, and enquiries are said to be ongoing.
Signs appealing for witnesses have been erected near the scene, between the Bawbee Bridge and the entrance to Bayview football stadium.
Sergeant Ewan Pearce said: “Our enquiries into the cause of the crash are continuing and I would ask anyone who saw what happened, and has not yet spoken to officers, to come forward.
“I would also ask motorists who were in the area around the time of the collision who may have been recording via dash cam devices to check their systems and provide any relevant footage to us as soon as possible.”
Anyone with information should contact police on 101, quoting incident number 2879 of Sunday May 17.
