A St Andrews road will remain partially closed for a week after a sewer collapsed causing a sinkhole.
Scottish Water confirmed engineers had made the area in Kilrymont Road safe and would start repairing the sewer, believed to date back to the 1960s, on Monday.
A Scottish Water spokeswoman said: “The work is expected to be completed by June 8 after which time the road will reopen.
“Scottish water apologises for any inconvenience caused during this essential repair work. The work will be completed with as minimum disruption as possible and in line with all current guidance on Covid-19 in place.”
