Fife Council’s bulky item uplift service can be booked online from today.
It will initially operate on Saturdays only, starting on June 6, so residents can dispose of household waste and recycling that has built up over the lockdown period.
Collections will be carried out blue bins have been collected.
Councillor Ross Vettraino, convener of environment, protective services and community safety committee, said: “We anticipate that initial demand for this service will be high, so please only book a bulky uplift if you have waste that poses a health or fire risk and cannot safely be stored at home.”
