Police have appealed for help in finding jewellery and commemorative coins stolen from houses in St Andrews.
A substantial amount of valuables are alleged to have been taken during a series of break-ins in the town on March 3.
A 35-year-old man arrested in connection with the thefts is due to appear in Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
Police are continuing to hunt for some of the missing belongings and urged people to report any suspicious items offered for sale.
An extensive investigation was launched by Levenmouth CID after four houses in Berry Place, Learmonth Place, Crawford Gardens and Priory Gardens were targeted.
Detective Constable Alan Shovlin said: “We are delighted that our inquiry has led to an arrest, however there is still a considerable amount of valuables, including jewellery and commemorative coins outstanding.
“I would urge anyone who may have information about the location of the outstanding property or who has been offered commemorative coins/unique jewellery for sale to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 3572 of March 4.”
