Traders in Kirkcaldy High Street celebrated a cautious return of the town’s Artisan Friday market for the first time since it had to be shelved before the lockdown.
Socially distant stall holders were delighted to be back setting up in the town centre, with strict new measures to protect them and the wider public.
The market, which was launched in November by local businesswoman Louise Canny, proved popular before the lockdown began, and it is hoped trade will soon pick up again.
Hand sanitisers, gloves and masks were a common sight, while stewards helped enforce social distancing.
The organisers said the High Street offered room for social distancing and fresh air, giving it an advantage over busy supermarkets.
