Police have arrested a man in connection with a break-in at a St Andrews off-licence.
The 31-year-old was tracked down in Luton and will appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Monday.
Officers launched an investigation after Luvians Bottle Shop in Market Street was broken into in the early hours of May 24, and a quantity of fine alcoholic spirits was stolen.
A police spokesperson said: “Enquiries carried out by officers led them to Luton, where, with the assistance of Bedford Police, two properties in that town were searched, resulting in the arrest of a 31-year-old man.
“He is due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Monday, 14 June, 2020.”
