Police are investigating after a Fife football ground was attacked by vandals for the second time in days.
Vandals destroyed one of the main dugouts at Warout Stadium, home of Glenrothes Football Club in the latest attack.
It’s thought it happened on Thursday evening.
It is a further blow to the club which only last week had windows smashed.
A spokesman for the club said: “It’s unfortunate on the morning we should be announcing our news strips that again we have suffered at the hands of mindless vandalism at the stadium.
“This costs the club a lot of time and money to fix and at a time where the club has minimal income we have to rely on our supporters to fix these things.
“We are hoping that someone has information on who the culprits are so the relevant people can have a word with them or their parents.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We have been made aware of instances of vandalism at a premises in Warout Road, Glenrothes.
“Damage was caused to property within and officers will carry out additional patrols in the area.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact local officers at Glenrothes via 101.”
