Families in Fife are being offered a range of free outdoor activities with the launch of a new programme from Monday.
Fife Council has arranged a variety of sports including golf, tennis, bowls, archery, boccia, volleyball, orienteering, cycling and fitness circuits at venues across the region.
The one-hour sessions from Monday to Friday are available on a rotational basis at Inverkeithing High School and Oakley Community Centre, Dunfermline High School, Lochore Meadows, the Lomond Centre, Windmill Community Campus, Levenmouth Academy and Waid Community Campus.
Head of communities and neighbourhoods Paul Vaughan said: “We want to encourage everyone to become more active and enjoy physical activity, sport and leisure.
“The active families programme, along with Fife Cycle Park, will allow this to happen in a fun and safe environment, using some of our green space across Fife.
“We encourage families to take part in these activities and look forward to welcoming them back to our outdoor spaces but we’d also like to remind everyone to continue observing social physical distancing, regular hand washing and use a common sense approach.”

Fife Cycle Park will reopen on July 15 and activities there will be free during the school holidays.
