Police investigating the discovery of a body in a Fife park say they do not believe the death was suspicious.
A full-scale enquiry was launched on Sunday after the body of a 47-year-old man was found in a stream in Pittencrieff Park, Dunfermline.
Police, including forensics officers, spent much of the day investigating the circumstances and a large area of the glen was cordoned off.
A police spokesperson said: “At around 6.45am on Sunday 5 July, officers were called to Pittencrieff Park, Dunfermline, after the body of a 47 year old man was found in a stream.
“There does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
