A Dunfermline man who repeatedly ignored court orders not to contact his partner has been jailed for a year.
Instead of adhering to the order, Andrew Wilson met up with the woman he was banned from seeing having previously assaulted her.
Andrew Wilson, 43, of Inchkeith Drive, appeared via a video-link from Perth Prison, admitting a string of offences.
He admitted that having been placed on a non-harassment order on December 18 he breached this on various occasions when he contacted Helen Watson, met up with her and verbally abused her.
Sheriff Charles Macnair jailed Wilson for 12 months.
