Details about investment into the existing Madras College buildings as the wait for a replacement school goes on should be available next month.
Fife Council confirmed it will not appeal the court ruling which blocked plans for a new school at Pipeland earlier this year, but stressed its belief that the Pipeland site remains “live”.
While the delay for a new St Andrews school continues though, council leader David Ross stressed that cash will be ploughed into the existing Madras in the meantime.
Mr Ross revealed that a report on the issue should go before the council’s next executive committee on May 10.
