Fife College staff have been introduced to the project team working on its new Dunfermline campus.
The meeting follows the college’s announcement that it has secured the option to purchase land to build a new campus on the Shepherd Offshore site.
College principal Hugh Logan said: “We are delighted that our plans are moving in the right direction and that the team is now in place to take this project on to the next phase.”
He added the college will shortly be launching in to a 12-week consultation process as part of its planning application and looked forward to working with its new partners in developing initial plans.
“This new campus plays a key part in our estates strategy and we are committed to ensuring that our students, staff and the public are kept informed at all stages of the build, with our students remaining at the centre of all decisions made.”
Alan Harrison will act as lead technical advisor on the project.
