A Rosyth man twice assaulted a police officer called out to a family disturbance.
Grant MacPherson got into a fight with his sister when she came into the house without getting him cigarettes.
Dunfermline Sheriff Court heard he struggled with Caleigh MacPherson and Craig Flynn, who had been outside the property at Irene Hughes Drive, Rosyth, on December 27, and came in to help the pair’s mother break them up.
Police were called and when officers tried to arrest him, MacPherson, 36, attempted to flee the scene.
He ran out of the living room slamming the door shut on the arm of the pursuing officer, who “thought his arm had been broken such was the pain” according to depute fiscal Dev Kapadia.
MacPherson then grabbed on to a fence and lashed out with his elbow, catching the same constable on the face, causing a black eye.
MacPherson, 36, of Queensferry Road, admitted grapplng with his sister and Mr Flynn, and assaulting a police officer
Sheriff Alastair Brown called for reports and warned MacPherson he could face jail when sentenced on October 21.
