A Kirkcaldy institution has celebrated its 50th anniversary with a series of events.
Linton Lane Centre became the new home of Kirkcaldy Boys Club after its move from Rose Street in 1966.
And ever since the centre has gone from strength to strength, becoming a hub for community groups and activities.
Live band nights and a display of archive material were among highlights, while Noeline Raitt, wife of former community leader James Raitt, presented Leigh Bonthrone – who raised over £6,000 for Marie Curie – with the James Raitt Memorial Shield for her work in the centre as part of the festivities.
A tapestry was also presented to the centre and Mrs Raitt was presented with a tapestry with her husband’s name on, both done by Sandy Elder.
