Fifers are reminded that GP practices will be closed for the May Day holiday on Monday.
Anyone who is ill and cannot wait for a surgery to reopen on Tuesday should call NHS 24 on 111. People should also remember repeat prescriptions and to restock medicine cabinets.
Some pharmacies will be open on Monday, including the following:
Wm Morrison in Cowdenbeath from 9am to 5.30pm, Asda Dunfermline from 9am to 9pm, Boots Dunfermline from 8.30am to 5.30pm, Boots Glenrothes from 8.45am to 5.30pm, Asda Kirkcaldy from 9am to 9pm, Boots at Fife Retail Park in Kirkcaldy from 9am to 8pm, Boots in Kirkcaldy High Street from 12pm to 5pm, Boots in St Andrews from 8.30am to 5.30pm and Wm Morrison in St Andrews from 9am to 6pm.
