A female cyclist and a child have been taken to hospital after being struck by a vehicle on roundabout in Fife.
A car is thought to have hit the female cyclist injuring her and a three-year-old boy who was in a carrier seat on the bike at the time.
The incident happened at around 9.30am today at Masterton Roundabout in the Duloch area of Dunfermline.
It’s thought the woman suffered a broken arm in the accident, while the child is understood to have suffered minor injuries.
A police spokesperson said: “Officers attended at Linburn Road in Dunfermline at 9.35am on Sunday, October 10, following reports of a crash involving a car and cyclist who was carrying a child passenger.
“The cyclist, 31-year-old woman and three-year-old boy were taken to hospital for treatment.
“The driver of the car, an 87-year-old man, will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.”
