A dispute over a woman taking her shoes off on a dancefloor ended up in a court appearance.
Amy Reekie, 24, of Forth Crescent, High Valleyfield, admitted that on October 10 at Harlem, Bruce Street, she assaulted Jack Woolley by scratching him on the face and kick and punch him on the body.
Depute fiscal Claire Crompton said a dispute with the doorman occurred when Reekie’s party were asked to leave after her friend took her shoes off on the dancefloor. Reekie grabbed his face then attempted to kick him in the groin, instead striking his inner thigh.
Sheriff Craig McSherry fined Reekie £360 and ordered her to pay £200 compensation.
