Lundin Bowling Club is holding an open day on Saturday May 14.
The event, from noon to 4pm, is to maintain and boost membership.
There will be a sports competition involving bowls, pool, darts and putting with a £50 prize for the winner.
On the day, the club will offer half price subscription
To encourage new players, once a voucher has been obtained, the holder will be entitled to five free coaching sessions.
Participants will not be asked to pay for a subscription until the end of the coaching sessions when they will be offered a discount, if they decide to continue.
Last year the club had 15 people sign up for coaching and all subsequently decided to join.
After the event, coaching sessions will be held on Friday evenings when qualified coaches will guide new players through the basics.
Bowls will be made available for beginners to use.
