Five men have been arrested following the seizure of Class A drugs worth an estimated £95,000 from industrial premises in Glenrothes.
Officers from the Fife Pro-Active Investigation Unit arrested the males, aged between 25 and 38-years-old, at the unit on Whitecraigs Road on May 5.
A subsequent search of the premises recovered 2.4kg of cocaine.
All of the men were charged with offences under the Misuse of Drugs Act and are expected to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on May 9.
Detective Inspector Colin Robson, of Fife Division Pro-Active Investigation Unit, said: “This was a significant seizure of cocaine that was destined for our streets and shows the commitment of Police Scotland to disrupting the sale and supply of controlled drugs by removing drugs from our communities.
“Rest assured that we will act on all information that is passed to us and anyone who wishes to come forward and report criminal activity in their area will be treated with the utmost sensitivity.
