Two men have been arrested following an alleged serious assault in a Fife town.
Officers were called to a property in the Woodside area of Cowdenbeath on Saturday, October 24 at 1.55am following reports of the incident.
Two men, one aged 25 and another 30, were arrested in connection with the alleged assault on Wednesday morning.
Fife Police Division confirmed officers had traced the pair to a property in Ballingry.
A statement posted to the force’s Cowdenbeath Police Twitter account read: “Following an operation run by CID, officers have forced entry at an address in Ballingry this morning to execute a search warrant.
“Two males traced at the address have been arrested, this in connection with a serious assault that took place in Cowdenbeath.”
