A Kinross space education trust has launched its Cosmos Cinema Club.
Aero Space Scientific Educational Trust (ASSET) will have its first screenings from December 4 to 6 at Fife Airport.
The organisation aims to “bring some welcome sparkle” to families in the Kinross and Fife areas in the lead-up to Christmas.
ASSET has worked with the Indy Cinema Group to create a platform for audiences to engage with astronomy.
A version of Capcom Go! The Apollo Story from NSC Creative will be shown at every screening.
CEO of ASSET, Alisdair Stewart said: “We have been working on this movie event to bring something really special to the area for Christmas that will, hopefully, give families a great night out in a Covid-19 secure and friendly environment.
“We also want to keep our efforts to bring aerospace, aviation and astronomy education to young people across Scotland front of mind.”
Film enthusiasts will be able to watch Christmas classics such as the Polar Express, Elf Home Alone, Die Hard, and Love Actually.
