Five people in Leven are celebrating after winning £1,000 each on Sunday thanks to their lucky postcode.
The Letham Terrace neighbours netted the windfall when KY8 4SQ was announced as a Daily Prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on Sunday November 1.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson sent his well-wishes to the winners.
He said: “A big congratulations to our winners in Leven! What a great way to kick off the month. I’m sure they’ll enjoy spending the cash and treat themselves to something special.”
A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
Many good causes close to the winners have also benefitted from players’ support, and local charities can apply for funding next year.
