Fashion show director Oscar Macdonald jumps for joy at the £30,000 raised for SANE and its black dog campaign
A high profile student-run fashion show has donated £30,000 to a mental health charity.
St Andrews Charity Fashion Show FS2016 raised the cash for SANE at its annual catwalk event in February.
A cheque was handed over to the charity which is behind the black dog campaign to reduce the stigma of mental illness.
Black dog is a commonly used metaphor for mental illness and celebrities, artists and members of the public have designed coats for black dog statues to support the action.
Fashion show young designer award finalist Daniel Chu designed the coat in the picture.
