Dunfermline youngsters have celebrated 100 years of cub scouting at a day of activities at East End Park.
DAFC director and former scout Ross McArthur showed off the team’s League Cup to the cubs, who were making the most of the sunshine with a packed schedule of games.
A bouncy castle and assault course were just two of the main attractions, along with sumo suits, space hoppers and five-a-side football.
Over 150 cubs attended the event, representing each scout group in Dunfermline.
One lucky cub also won a football that had been signed by the entire DAFC team.
Cameron O’Brien, 3rd Fife Cub Pack, said: “This is great fun, and if it happens again I will encourage all my friends to come.”
Sophie Edwards, of 2nd Fife, said: “This is the best day ever.”
Don Yard, assistant district commissioner for cub scouts, said: “Just saying thank you to Ross barely reflects our appreciation for his commitment to helping Scouts within the community.”
