Pupils at Kirkcaldy High School found out about the house building industry with the help of Barratt Homes.
The company came up with an interactive game which challenged a group of 40 pupils to act as project managers for a property development.
Depute rector Jennifer Davidson said: “The session really opened their eyes and helped them get a clearer understanding of how the industry worked.
“The day was particularly useful for those currently making decisions about their subject choices and paths to work, such as apprenticeships or graduate opportunities.”
Alison Condie from Barratt Homes East of Scotland said: “It is our job to make sure that we engage with young people entering the workforce to capture their attention and show them that the industry really could be for them.”
