Police in Kirkcaldy have released an image of a man they wish to speak to following an attempted housebreaking in the town.
The unusual step has been taken following the incident at a business on Bennochy Road on March 7.
Officers believe that the man pictured within the CCTV image is of interest to their investigation and are asking anybody who may recognise him to come forward.
He is described as being in his 20’s, 5 ft 8 inches tall, with a slim build and very short brown hair.
He was wearing a light grey hoodie with black stripes down the arms, light grey tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.
Detective Sergeant Craig Fraser from Kirkcaldy CID said: “We are eager to trace the man pictured, who may be able to assist with our enquiries, and would ask anyone who can help us establish his identity to come forward.
