Two people have been taken to hospital following a road accident in Fife.
A Ford Fiesta collided with a white Ford Transit van on the A909 between Cowdenbeath and Kelty shortly before 9am.
Emergency services arrived on the scene, with the male van driver requiring assistance from fire crews in being removed from his vehicle.
He has been taken to the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy, along with the female driver of the car, although neither are thought to have sustained serious injuries.
However, shortly after the arrival of the emergency services, the Ford Fiesta ignited, forcing the road to be closed temporarily while the blaze was extinguished.
