Police in north east Fife are appealing for witnesses following the theft of three vehicles in the area over the last few days.
A red Ford Transit van containing a quantity of tools was stolen from Brewsterwells Farm found off the A915 north of Lathones at around 3.25pm on Friday May 20.
Elsewhere, a business premises on South Street in St Andrews was broken into sometime between noon and midnight on Sunday May 22 resulting in two white Ford Transit vans containing a quantity of tools being stolen.
Exact details about the worth of the items stolen have not been divulged, but the incidents are just the latest in a series of thefts in the north east Fife area in recent months.
Community Sergeant Ewan Pearce, from Cupar Police Station, said: “If anyone remembers seeing anything suspicious in the areas around these times, please get in touch.
“I’d like to reiterate how important it is to keep your property secure and remain vigilant.
“Remember that sheds and garages are extensions of your home and should also be given consideration as to their security.
“Security lights, padlocks and CCTV for larger properties should all be considered to deter criminals.
“Anyone with any information about this break-in please contact the police.”
