A unique facility enabling people with a range of accessibility issues to enjoy a holiday has opened in north east Fife.
Set in 90 acres of farmland, The Rings, at Chance Inn by Cupar, offers fully accessible accommodation for up to 16 people, meaning anyone with disability issues can enjoy some relaxation with their family or carers.
Congratulating owners Moira and David Henderson on the opening of the facility, local MP Stephen Gethins said: “Every last detail has been thought out and I’m really pleased that North East Fife is able to offer such a unique facility. I know the creation of The Rings has been a dream for Moira, who is passionate about accessible tourism, and I’m very glad to see this has now become a reality which many people will benefit from.”
Moira, recently appointed chairperson for Cupar and North Fife Tourism Partnership, said she has had lots of interest from across the country including schools for children with special needs as well as local authorities, and is working closely with Fife Council to encourage businesses to join Accessible Tourism Fife (AT Fife) to bring more tourist business into the area.
