Locals have been invited to help Levenmouth clean up its act.
Firefighters, the East Fife Youth Academy and local councillors will be among those taking part in a community clean-up in Leven on Sunday.
Teams will target the area around Burnmill Industrial Estate from 10am till noon as part of a Scotland-wide campaign against litter and mess.
The long-term aim is to gradually change behaviour so that littering becomes as unacceptable as drink driving.
Stephen Thomson, station manager at Methil fire station, said: “Local people want to see the cleanliness of Levenmouth improve and this is a very positive step forward.”
