Police in Fife are appealing for help in tracing a 46-year-old man reported missing from the Levenmouth area.
Richard Carnwath has not been seen since Tuesday May 17, and is known to have links in Fife, Midlothian and central Scotland.
Anyone who has seen Richard or has information on his whereabouts is asked to come forward immediately.
He is described as 6ft, has a very heavy build, scruffy short brown hair and has a local accent.
Inspector Thomas Brown of Levenmouth police station said: “We want to trace Richard as quickly as possible and I’d be interested to hear from anyone who has seen or spoken to him since Tuesday.
“He doesn’t have access to a car so it is highly likely that he has used public transport at some stage and, as such, I’d urge any regular bus or rail goers to get in touch if they remember seeing him.
“I also appeal directly to Richard to call and let us know you are okay.”
Those with information should contact police immediately on 101 or speak to any officer.
