Hundreds of runners dressed in white t-shirts will race across a St Andrews beach to recreate the beginning of a classic film.
More than 400 people have signed up to the Chariots of Fire race on the West Sands, where the famous scene in the film of the same name was shot.
The annual 5km run was launched six years ago to celebrate the iconic cinematic moment – set to the famous Vangelis theme tune – and raise money for St Andrews-based Worldwide Cancer Research.
The race on Sunday June 5, will start at 12pm, after a children’s one-mile fun run at 11.30am. Visit www.runthedream.co.uk to enter before May 31.
