All roads head to the East Neuk on June 4 and 5 for the two-day annual Anstruther Harbour Festival.
At 10 am on Saturday the City of St Andrews pipe band marches from the Waid Academy down Rodger Street to the harbour front and officially opens the event.
Traditional music and Scottish dance will be showcased as the Dunedin Dancers perform in the afternoon and an evening dance with popular favourites Nackytoosh Ceilidh Band ends the day.
Other highlights include the traditional muster of boats, the “best decorated window” contest for local shops
Sunday morning starts with a harbour-side church service at 11 am and afterwards, the harbour front is again active and busy with music, activities and entertainment.
Meanwhile, the Scottish Fisheries Museum has its open day tomorrow and there will be free entry.
The Reaper, the museum’s sailing drifter, will bring the festival’s Fisher Lad and Fisher Lass ashore prior to their crowning ceremonies.
