The Scottish Fisheries Museum in Anstruther is hosting its open day on Saturday.
Launched in 2009 to celebrate the East Neuk attraction’s 40th anniversary, the event has become an annual fixture.
For the second year running, it will link up with Anstruther Harbour Festival for a fun-filled day.
Highlights will be the inauguration of the “fisherlass and lad” followed by the prizegiving ceremony for the children’s art competition. The youngsters’ artwork will be on display in the museum’s Merchant’s Room until June 28.
Entry to the museum will be free, with activities including a model boat display, art and crafts, and musical entertainment. Outside, the Reaper will be open to visitors and the St Ayles Rowing Club will be holding demonstrations in the outer harbour.
