A 44-year-old Dunfermline woman has appeared in court following an incident in the town which saw police in riot gear close off a street.
Police were called to reports of an incident in Lomond Crescent on Thursday. Officers remained on the scene for six hours.
Debbie Scott appeared in private at Dunfermline Sheriff Court facing a total of seven charges. These include two charges of assault to injury and three separates counts of assault.
She is also facing charges under the Criminal Law (Consolidation) (Scotland) Act 1995 and the Criminal Justice and Licensing (Scotland) Act 2010.
She made no plea and was remanded in custody.
