The incident took place around 4pm on Sunday when the teenager became involved in a verbal altercation with a man. The boy was pulled to the ground and assaulted, sustaining minor injuries. Officers investigating said the man who allegedly assaulted the boy had an American accent. A spokesperson for Police Scotland added that the suspect is white, aged between 30 and 40-years-old, and had black medium length hair. He also had an average build and is said to be around 5ft 7in tall. “At the time of the assault, he was wearing a blue t-shirt, shorts and no shoes,” the spokesperson continued.
