Police in Fife are appealing for witnesses after a pensioner was robbed in a Rosyth street at the weekend.
The incident took place on Findlay Crescent around 4pm on Sunday, when a 65-year-old man was approached by a man who demanded the victim’s wallet and threatened him violence.
The suspect, who ran off in the direction of Backmarch Road, is described as white, between 20 and 30-years-old, approximately 5ft 8in, slim build with dark hair.
He was also wearing a white coloured short-sleeved shirt and dark trousers.
Detective Sergeant Kieran Marsh, of Dunfermline Police Station, said “We are currently pursuing a number of lines of enquiry, however, I would ask if anyone was in the area of Findlay Crescent on Sunday who may have seen anything or anyone acting suspiciously, please contact us.”
