A 40-year-old man is due to appear in court following a robbery in Rosyth last weekend.
The alleged incident happened last Sunday when the 65-year-old victim was walking on Findlay Crescent.
He was approached by a man who demanded that he hand over his wallet and threatened him with violence.
An investigation led by officers from Fife CID resulted in the arrest of a man who is expected to appear before Dunfermline Sheriff Court today.
Detective Sergeant Kieran Marsh of Dunfermline police station said: “Thanks to the assistance of the local community we have successfully traced and arrested a 40-year-old man in connection with this crime.”
