Pair admit stealing more than £10,000 of goods from Amazon

Two men have admitted the theft of goods with a total value of over £10,000 from Amazon’s giant warehouse in Dunfermline.
Craig Brown, 25, of Paterson Street, Methil, admitted stealing electrical devices worth £4971.79 from Amazon, Amazon Way, Dunfermline, between September 12 and 20 last year.
Lee Hampton, 29, of Craigie Street, Ballingry, admitted that between the same dates he stole devices valued at £5,196.
Neither man appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court but were both represented by solicitors who submitted their pleas. Sentencing will take place on July 6.
Opened in 2011 next to the M90, Amazon’s Dunfermline operation is their biggest order fulfilment centre in the UK.
