Four people escaped serious injury after the car they were travelling in crashed through a wall.
The incident happened at 2.45pm on Station Road, between Cairneyhill and Oakley in the west of the region.
The Dacia Sandero left the road and went through a garden wall before coming to rest against the exterior wall of a rural bungalow.
The occupants of the vehicle were able to walk away from the stricken vehicle, though police did close off the road for a short period while initial investigation work was conducted.
The house was said to have sustained only minimal damage, with some roof tiles having come loose.
Its occupants were out at the time of the incident.
The smash is just the latest incident in Fife in recent weeks where a vehicle has collided with a building.
Last Saturday a car crashed in to a house in Crosshill, while on Monday evening a BMW ploughed in to the side of a block of flats in Methil.
An SUV towing a caravan crashed through the wall of a Crail property on June 6, while St Andrews Community Hospital was penetrated by an Audi A3 last week, before the car burst into flames.
