Members of the local branch of the Royal British Legion gathered at the town’s war memorial to mark Armed Forces Day. The ceremony also attracted local dignitaries, including deputy provost Kay Morrison and MSP Jenny Gilruth. Although a New Town, Glenrothes has suffered several losses in recent conflicts involving the British armed forces.
